Short version: I'm offering up to 50% off my usual editing and formatting services, as well as special, simplified formatting rate exclusively for this jam. Editing is rounded by word count; formatting is within a range. Check out the table below for the quick and dirty of it. (Click that text to jump down the page.)
Long version: I'm changing how my pricing works for this event only! If you've worked with me before, you know my editing rates are rounded to the nearest 250 words. For HWQS participants, I'm rounding down to the nearest 500 words. (For anyone who hates numbers: this is a better price for you no matter what.) You can check out the table below to gauge rates for a few different project lengths.
Formatting works a little differently. For this event, I have two tiers. Please note if your work contains sections requiring a little extra attention, like dreams, diary entries, or anything else you want to differentiate from your main body text, that is included in both tiers. I love and respect your vision, and I want to make it pretty for you!
Simple formatting includes:- Typesetting + coding your work in PDF and EPUB formats
- Incorporating dividers, chapter headers, or other graphics you provide
This does not include a final proofread of your work in the base price. You can add that for an additional 30% of the rate if you don't want all the bells and whistles, but still want a fresh pair of eyes (e.g., +$7.25 for 5,000 words, +$18 for 40,000 words).
Complex formatting includes:
- Typesetting + coding your work in PDF and EPUB formats
- Full proofread for remaining typographical errors and inconsistencies
- Curated dividers and chapter headers, provided by me, for you to choose from
